Laut Guinessbuch der Rekorde sich die höchstgelegene Bibliothek in einem Gebäude in Shanghai. Dafür musste Fin bei seinem Besuch ganz schön hoch fliegen. Sie liegt in 230,9 m Höhe im 60. Stock des JW Marriott Hotels am Tomorrow Square der chinesischen Metropole. Die Bibliothek wurde zeitgleich mit dem Hotel am 7. November 2003 eröffnet.

Sie ist nur 57 Quadratmeter groß und die 103 Regale der Bibliothek enthalten eine ständig wachsende Sammlung von chinesischen und englischen Büchern. Um von der Hotel-Lobby zur Bibliothek zu gelangen, müsste man etwa 1.435 Stufen überwinden.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the highest library located in a building can be found in Shanghai. Fin had to fly quite high during his visit. It is 230.9 meters high on the 60th floor of the JW Marriott Hotel on Tomorrow Square in the Chinese metropolis. The library was opened at the same time as the hotel on November 7, 2003.

It is only 57 square meters in size and the library's 103 shelves contain an ever-growing collection of Chinese and English books. To get from the hotel lobby to the library, you would have to climb about 1,435 steps.
