Kurfürst Friedrich III., auch “der Weise” genannt, gründete in Wittenberg die kursächsische Landesuniversität, die unter dem Namen LEUCOREA (“leukos oros” = griechisch “weißer Berg” in Anlehnung an den Namen der Stadt Wittenberg) weltweit bekannt geworden ist. Von 1512 an lehrte Martin Luther hier als Professor für Bibelauslegung im Jahre 1518 wurde Philipp Melanchthon berufen.

Elector Frederick III ‘the Wise’ founded a university in Wittenberg which became world-renowned under the name Leucorea (Greek for ‘white mount’, echoing the meaning of ‘Wittenberg’). Martin Luther began teaching theology there in 1512, while Philipp Melanchthon was appointed professor of Greek there in 1518.

Die Lab-Caches dieses Adventure Lab führen zu ein paar Orten der Reformation hier in Wittenberg. Die Aufgaben sind einfach gehalten, damit sie auch von Touristen in knapper Zeit gut bewältigt werden können. Die insgesamt 5 Lab-Caches befinden sich auf dem Weg vom Lutherhaus zur Schlosskirche. Die Schreibweise der Lösungen entspricht der, wie ihr sie vor Ort vorfindet. Am Ende gibt es auch einen Bonuscache (GC8N2EG), denkt also an die Bonusinformationen. Alle Caches sind Rollstuhl geeignet und auch auf Englisch.

The lab-caches of this adventure lab lead to a few places of the Reformation here in Wittenberg. The tasks are kept simple so that they can be easily mastered by tourists in a short amount of time. The total of 5 lab-caches are on the way from the Lutherhouse to the castle church. The spelling of the solutions corresponds to how you find them on site. In the end there is also a bonus cache (GC8N2EG), so think about the bonus information. All caches are wheelchair accessible.
