An dieser Tür hat Martin Luther der Überlieferung nach am 31. Oktober 1517 auf einem Plakat 95 Thesen in lateinischer Sprache bekannt gegeben, um darüber mit Gelehrten zu disputieren. Die Disputation sollte Klarheit darüber bringen, ob der Handel der Kirche mit „Ablassbriefen“ dem entspreche, was Jesus einmal gewollt hat. Das war der Anfang der Reformation.

On 31 October 1517, Martin Luther is said to have posted his 95 Theses in Latin on this very door in order to debate his propositions with scholars. This academic disputation was meant to establish whether the sale of indulgences truly coincided with Jesus’ intentions. This episode is regarded as the start of the Reformation.

Die Lab-Caches dieses Adventure Lab führen zu ein paar Orten der Reformation hier in Wittenberg. Die Aufgaben sind einfach gehalten, damit sie auch von Touristen in knapper Zeit gut bewältigt werden können. Die insgesamt 5 Lab-Caches befinden sich auf dem Weg vom Lutherhaus zur Schlosskirche. Die Schreibweise der Lösungen entspricht der, wie ihr sie vor Ort vorfindet. Am Ende gibt es auch einen Bonuscache (GC8N2EG), denkt also an die Bonusinformationen. Alle Caches sind Rollstuhl geeignet und auch auf Englisch.

The lab-caches of this adventure lab lead to a few places of the Reformation here in Wittenberg. The tasks are kept simple so that they can be easily mastered by tourists in a short amount of time. The total of 5 lab-caches are on the way from the Lutherhouse to the castle church. The spelling of the solutions corresponds to how you find them on site. In the end there is also a bonus cache (GC8N2EG), so think about the bonus information. All caches are wheelchair accessible.
